Petal 'n' Paper

The natural looking garden at Petal 'n Paper has evoked many a positive comment! 'The best garden in the village' and 'A haven for wildlife' - cuttings and plant swops are a regular in Petal's garden - and if you visit in August you are welcome to help yourself to the delicious wild strawberries.

Although the garden does look like 'laissez-faire' we can promise you that many hours of enjoyable work go into this wildlife area, but indeed we don't have Monty Don or Carol Klein on the premises.

Hedgehogs, honeybees, bumblebees, butterflies, several bird species (we counted 14 at one time by the pond last summer) all gather at Petal for nectar and food, knowing they are welcome.
